There are many types of stenters, but the basic structure is nothing more than the following combined parts:
It is used to guide the fabric smoothly into the stenter. It is generally composed of multiple cloth guide rollers, edge suction devices and a bracket with rollers.
There are two types: cloth clips and needle plates. Generally, cotton and wool fabrics use needle plates, and silk uses cloth clips. They are used to fasten the cloth surface and apply tension to both sides to flatten the cloth surface.
There are two types of stenters: open type and drying room type. Generally, cotton cloth uses closed drying room type, and silk uses open type, which is heated by steam and sprayed with moisture.
The fabric stretched by needle plates or cloth clips will have uneven ruffles on the edges. After ironing with a steam roller in the middle, the ruffles will be eliminated. At the same time, at a higher temperature, the stretched width can be relatively stabilized, and the cloth surface can be ironed to be flatter and brighter.
The stretched cloth passes through a series of guide rollers, rolls the cloth or drops it into a turnover vehicle through S-shaped swing to enter the next process.
The stenter machine conducts and dissipates the static electricity generated by ironing and friction on the cloth surface through tip discharge or positive and negative offset to prevent static electricity accumulation and affect workers' operation.
